Return & Refunds
At Solitaire Shine, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition as received
- Unworn and unused
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation email

As each ring is custom-made according to your selected ring size, diamond type, and metal preference, returns unrelated to manufacturing defects are subject to the following restocking fees:
- 20% restocking fee for Moissanite jewelry
- 30% restocking fee for Lab Grown Diamond (CVD) jewelry
These fees cover resizing, polishing, refinishing, and labor costs associated with preparing the piece for resale.
If a returned item requires extensive cleaning, repair, or restoration—or is returned in a condition unsuitable for resale—an additional restocking fee may apply depending on the required work.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and contact us right away if:
- The item is defective
- The item is damaged
- You received the wrong item
We will evaluate the issue and work quickly to make it right.
Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
Due to the nature of certain handcrafted jewelry items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Made-to-order eternity bands
- Jewelry with physical damage caused after delivery
Exchange Policy
If a customer wishes to exchange their ring, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the original purchase amount. The remaining balance will be applied toward the new purchase.
Any price difference between the original and exchanged item will also be charged accordingly. Please note that exchange values may vary depending on current gold and stone market prices.
Exchange conditions:
- Exchange requests must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
- One exchange is permitted per piece
- Store credit from exchanges cannot be used for future unrelated purchases
Before returning any jewelry, please contact us so we can help ensure the item arrives safely.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a fully insured and trackable shipping service, as Solitaire Shine is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that banks and credit card providers may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
